In Adults. Eye check should be done in below situation
A.) Any symptoms of poor vision, redness, Pain...
B.) Systemic illness like Diabetes, Hypertension, Cardiac issues or Thyroid... minimum 6 monthly check up is advised.

In Kids
A.) Eye check up at age of 1 month if child is Pre-term, at the age of 4 months if you feel child is not properly focusing and at the age of 3 years for all kids even when no symptoms are seen
